JFC! The election was just yesterday. That's like talking about the playoffs two games into the preseason.
No it is not. It is like handicapping the Kentucky Derby based breeding and a race as a 2 year old. The next wave of party leaders are given the stage at the conventions, and exposure while campaigning for their guy. Obama went from stirring speech at the Kerry convention to 2 terms at the White House. POTUS is probably the longest he has ever held a job, no pun intended. Bobby Jindal crashed his shot at being the GOP's Great Dark Hope the night of Obama's first State of the Union speech. It is never too early to speculate. This is the new USA, the campaigning never stops.
Your real answer is that there is no one qualified or electable out of the GOP Kook Kamp, because they are nothing more than a vocal minority in the grand scheme of things.
