This year the options for president are down right abysmal. I’m not voting for the Mau Mau or the Mormon. Omonkey was never going to get my vote that commie isn’t even an option. The Republicans needed to nominate a strong tea party candidate that actually stood for something we need a leader with strong principles. Romney is a shill he’ll say and do anything to get elected. I'm having trouble with this "belonging to the government" thing. I doubt what they were saying was we're owned by the gov. I think they were using "government" as a replacement word for "community". I consider the government to be a part of my community, but it certainly isn't in and of itself the community. This is one of the fundamental differences between the two sides. In my mind , the government should be a help to the community, not the other way around. Which is exactly the Liberal/ Dem thinking. They need us to fork over more and more to return it to us in "services". After they've taken their cut, of course.
