We've lost power here for a week and a few times, for a few days. I don't enjoy being a slave to a woodstove for warmth and sustenance. It's a fulltime job or at very least, a mode of survival.


That's the thing isn't it ? Just surviving becomes your full time job. No time for worrying about facebook pals or who pissed who off on what forum or the wife bitching about your smelly feet etc........ Sounds like heaven for someone healthy enough to do it. If you could'nt get healthy doing it you'd expire soon enough.
