I did find some nice cleaner that does a good job on glassware.

Rubbing alcohol works wonders and is really cheap. Fill it until it starts to come out of the draw/bowl. Wrap the draw and the opening with plastic wrap and shake. Let it sit for an hour then rinse several times. End result is a clean piece and after you've rinsed it enough no aftertaste.

I always used some Purple Power stuff I bought at a head shop. Was like a highly concentrated detergent.

One of my clients is pimping some new organic bullshit that supposedly breaks down the tar and shit. No salt, no shaking, biofuckingdegradable. My dealer swears by it.
