The rule needs to be changed. If the infield fly is called the player should have to catch it for it to be an out. If he drops it whether unintentionally or intentionally or the ball drops like it did last night then all hands are safe. The ball is dead. One base for each runner. The whole thing would hinge on calling it an infield fly and being caught.
