good call...they did a great job with the race stew on that story-line.

so i caught up with last weeks episode and am wonderin why jax didnt just kill clay/turn him over to the dep upon finding out he was behind the break ins with the nomads.frankie diamonds had no reason to make that shit up during the standoff they had.

Killing him without enough proof would cause problems with the club.

Turning him over to the Police Chief cause more problems for the club. Think Clay wouldn't pull an Otto?

the chief doesnt want to take frankie and clay to go get locked up.he probably wants to torture them,then kill them.

I know,but Clay would find a way to weasel out of it,blame Jax. And then offer up everybody else. If Roosevelt bought it,and why would he trust Jax more than Clay,the chief becomes a hero while getting 'revenge',even if he's wrong.

Besides,Jax wants Clay to pay in front of the club. Best revenge.

when tara took out the perfume at the end of tonights episode i had a strong feeling she was gonna play with herself.i wonder if shes gonna start hooking up with otto.not only to save the club,but to satiate her nasty secret desire for some convict cock.

Have to say the season finale had some decent surprises in the storyline, betrayals I didn't expect and some that have been slowly developing throughout the season, but you weren't sure how or if it was gonna go down. Gemma & Jax have proven to be the most ruthless characters, like mother like son, with their twisted Oedipus relationship. Could be where they end the series, but doubt that'll happen.

btw, Dave Navarro playing a gang banger was laughable.

i gotta agree with you on the gay navarro comment.is he even hispanic?what jax did with tig surprised the shit out of me.i thought for sure that was it for tig,but then jax went in and popped everyone like a fucking commando.it was nice to see tig keep the pitbull from the dogfights.

also,i missed an ep or two in the beginning of the season,so what was popes hard on for tig anyway?gemma has some fucking balls going over to jaxs after fucking over tara like that.clays fucked when he gets put into gen pop in county,unless the writers get really funny and let him somehow prove he didnt kill pope and company and/or they put him in pc,but even then people can be gotten at in pc.

one final thought,in real life clay wouldnt have gotten off so easily by just having his ink blackened over.they wouldve cut it off him or burnt it off.not to mention beaten the living shit out of him or killed him.

Tig accidently killed Pope's daughter last season when he was trying to run down some foo she was dating. I wish Tig shot that guy who was about to shoot the pitbull.
Was surprised how easily Pope got out-played by Jax, which was cool. Gemma outwitting Tara was something I didn't expect, but then again she is the queen bitch.

At some point before the series is over, I expect Jax to kill Gemma.

At this point, I see him killing her too. The only thing I could think of at the final scene was that if this was HBO Jax would be banging her.

At about the 60 minute mark I kept thinking that Jax really had everything going his way..with 30 minutes to go.

Apologies to Nero. I seriously thought he'd heel turn. I think he's melting down, though.

I kept waiting for the Jacking Off Guy to do something huge. He's been just furniture for 2 seasons, and suddenly his character is getting layers. I love that kind of storytelling. "Look over here. Pay attention to this guy". It makes the twists and turns hit even harder.

Gemma going nuclear makes total sense. To be Queen Bitch, you have to let people know you're serious.

I was convinced the Tig thing would go the way it did. Until Jax handed him over. I pretty much thought it was over for him. Until Jax suggested snuffing Tig in the garage. The ups and downs in that few minutes were great.

The Tig/ dog thing built up sympathy for him, while you figured at the same time he was headed for his Destiny. It was a very well crafted mini arc.

As for Clay's tattoos, I think it's more a matter of what the group has the stomach for. Jax may have been all for snuffing him, but he was alone in that. 40 years of respect and fear don't just go away overnight. I'm more surprised they'd let him stay in town.

All in all, it was a really well done finale. Wasn't the Season 3 finale, but it tied up everything nicely and left lots of openings for next season.
