The SO and I are having a little row about filling out the free lunch program application from the Boy's school. They're hassling her about it, and she can't can't figure out why. Her thing is we wouldn't be eligible, so why fill it out? And there's the rub. It's not about socialism, it's about a bloated government bureaucracy whose main goal is growth. The application needs to be filled out because there's someone on the payroll at the school that makes sure there is 100% compliance in getting completed apps.
