It is. I grew up just north of LA in Oxnard and there were two Armenian kids I grew up with that were awesome and I didn't know anything about Armenian stereotypes until I moved to LA. It's nuts. Especially in the San Fernando Valley and Glendale, Glendale has a lot of street signs in English and Armenian. There is not a person that has lived around that area that won't admit that the stereotypical Armenian is the most obnoxious, rude, shady type of person there can be on the planet, it really doesn't get worse. They sort of fill the void that black people would fill if there were any around here. They're Southern California's nBlacks. I read a comment on youtube that sums them up quite nicely:

They literally flock from Armenia when they find out about our government welfare programs. They come over here one by one and cram each into the same apartment as they arrive, 8-10 dudes to a government subsidized studio apartment and then they sign up for and exploit every other type of welfare there is. They have a bro who knows a bro that gets them a lease on a shiny new Benz or BMW (black, grey, or white, NO COLOR) that's repossessed and spend every penny they have on that and one outfit of Armani (black or white, NO COLOR). Most get a shitty lease on their car and never make the payments so they just drive them until somebody repossesses it and start the cycle over. They have no money to spend on anything so they drive their cars to any public space and gather in a circle, smoke heinous amounts of cigarettes, and mad dog you like they own the place when you walk by. They exclusively listen to Tupac and fancy themselves supreme gangsters and/or boxers. Every Armenian has an Armenian flag patterned pair of mini boxing gloves hanging from their rear view mirror, but yet there are no Armenian boxers. They come and take up 75% of every class space at Glendale College and infest the place until about the 3rd week when they're not required to show up anymore for their financial aid checks, just another scheme on the welfare system put into action. I just started my statistics class and yesterday was the first day of the 4th week and the class was literally half full compared to packed to capacity the week before. It's all Asians, Latinos, and me now, all but 2 Armenians are gone. They drive like pricks too. They're all about bitches and money, primarily money. That's all that matters to them, looking rich, not being rich, LOOKING rich. They are the most morally devoid people around and yet every single one has a huge cross around his neck because they were the first Christians. Apparently that means you get to act like a scumbag now. I can keep going...
