The fracking for natural gas boom has allowed my state to keep unemployment under 5%. There are now at least 15 CNG fueling stations within 25 miles of my home charging $1.49 a gallon. If only I could find a vehicle that ran on it rather than having to swallow the cost of a conversion. If they found oil or natural gas on my land, I would make a deal with them to let them take it out. It’s so lucrative only a true idiot wouldn’t. Not to mention coal could run 100% of our power plants if we’d just let it. Yes there is still a lot of oil in Alaska as well as the Gulf. With technological advances, the fields that were inaccessible 5 years ago are now becoming viable. You should start listening to geologists and people knowledgeable in the field rather than other obedient useful idiots like yourself. You might learn something.
