Thanks for the love and wishes. I'm still striving to feel well rested as I've never felt this tired before and frustrated but I'm progressing. Husbiffle has had me eat McDonalds one day. I don't remember the last time I had that. It did me dirty :-/ But made up for it with a Angus burger with goat cheese, onion, roasted peppers. Also had prime rib for the second time in my life. It was yummy. My first experience wasn't. Last night I ate jagerschnitzel with spaetzel. (Don't know how to spell that) I dropped to 90lbs and trying to put some weight back on with this food. So far all it does is make me shit but can only stomach one meal a day. I'm trying.

I found out that my aunt had the same stroke, grandma twice and mom I know once. Both sides of the family. If it wasn't for Husbiffle I likely wouldn't have insurance. So far I have only had to pay $33 for all of this. Its hard to not get emotional over that. Need to stay calm

I got 12 hrs of sleep the other night finally and it was good sleep. Last night not as long but good. I hope it continues because it does make a difference for me. Speech has improved. Seemed like Friday I went two steps backwards but yesterday was a good day. Husbiffle had me talking a lot more than usual. Hopefully today is the same. Who would have ever thought talking felt like running.

Guys please take care of yourselves and get yearly blood work done. Low cholesterol or not it can happen anytime and from other health circumstances. This is the most daunting thing I've had to fester with and have to keep my calm at the same time.

I don't know how close you are to 40 Jerkules but go ahead and get it done if it won't cost you too much. It will give you a baseline if nothing else. If you're in real good shape on this report you can put it off beyond 40.

I'm not looking forward to 50 when I'm supposed to take a finger thereafter.

I just had a full panel done and all they told me was to take 2000 units of vitamin D. Strange that that's the result as I get a lot of sun and am generally considered olive complected.

Anyway, Gen, they still haven't sent me my numbers. It has something to do with the blood being sent to California for analysis and it being a non-approved (by my insurer) Lab. So they won't release the shit until the insurance company pays but they did call and tell me what to do.

Bornyo is at that age when they stick a camera up your ass and look for polyps and other sea creatures that glow in the dark. I bet fuckstick enjoys that.

Believe me, and any of the other over 40s here, you'll be here before you know it. 28, I think you said? Yeah, we were all pretty bulletproof then. It's not like making fun of a fat guy. Getting older is the nature of the beast. Certain "embarassing" medical tests come yearly with it. No matter how cool you might be at 28, in 12 years you're getting bloodwork. That fact that you're not there now is nothing more than an accident of birth. You'll get there, way quicker than you think. It just is. There's no avoiding it. Short of dying first. I'm 58 . Yesterday I was 21. I still think the same mostly. My body disagrees violently. Get the finger and the camera B. It may keep you around longer.

I asked my Doc about it. He's about my age and a pretty cool guy. He said "I'll stick my finger in your butt if you want, but I advise you to do like me and wait til you're 50." So Im following his advice.

I got the finger before and after my hernia surgery. The second time my ex was in the room. She thought it would be hilarious after all the times I licked her bum. She was wrong. It grossed her more than it did me.

Bornyo, I just got the same results, everything came in perfect within the boundaries except Vitamin D, I am now taking green jelly capsules 1x a week. *Shrugs* who knew I was lacking?
But I get a full panel every 6 months, just for my own sanity.

Gen, do you have trouble putting the sentences together in your head or is it just the actual speaking you have some trouble with?

My thoughts are generally fine but can't get the words out quick enough to keep up. Sometimes I say a word and I don't think its right so I say it again. Most times it still doesn't sound right and need someone to reassure me its right or not. There are times I cant think of the right word to use and oddly a word that has nothing to do with what I mean is a word I want to use but I catch myself before saying it since it takes me more time to speak. It puts the whole think before you speak in perspective. If I'm anything but relaxed or get slightly worked up then my thoughts will freeze and I feel trapped but even though it feels like forever I think it lasts a few seconds.

Some memory is affected. I don't remember any conversations I had the day if happened go until a few days after. I apparently drove myself to the doctor the second day and I don't remember. Luckily its only 3min down one road. Other memory issues is I'll forget completely what I was saying and even what the topic is out of nowhere. It feels like someone pushed my delete button or something. Its a empty lost feeling and very hard to not dwell on it. Lastly, I do things like this often lately today for example:

I walked down stairs three different times i think wihtin 20min with the ikntention to turn the light off in the great room. Each time I went down I ended up doimg something else I can't remember what. Then I go back upstairs, minutes later realizing I need to turn the light off. So I go back down and repeat. By the fourth time I got it but I kept saying in my head over and over 'turn the light off' so I wouldn't forget. The odd part is I don't realize I forget when I get back upstairs. Its like I thought I already took care of it and then realized I didn't. Its weird.

The first four days I had a hard time typing, didn't try writing. I'm better typing, almost perfect but I'm slower than my 70-80 wpm. Getting better though.

Short term memory loss w/o having to share drugs is my kinda lady. Later I may fap to the new old stock X-Mas pic, thinking of doing shit to you that you won't remember in the morning. All you'll be thinking is "Egg nog makes my butt hurt and jaw sore. Leaves a bad after taste too. Hmmm, my butt hurts, I must need a new office chair. Why is my jaw sore, I must be grinding my teeth. I have nothing to do today, I'm going to brush my teeth, then have some egg nog."

Stroke Recovery Funny: I was concerned about the water being too cold when I went to brush my teeth this morning. So I blew on the tooth brush as if I was about to eat piping hot food.
