This has been a good week, first i realized Gen is on the twitter then I see she has returned here.

Spent two weeks all over Greece and fell in love with every bit of it. I'm hoping to return there before the year is over.

Consider eastern Sicily. Taoromina. Siracusa. Catania.

When the Greeks ruled the Mediterranean, Sicily was considered "Greater Greece". It's where Odysseus battled the Cyclops. And, where Plato was imprisoned for a time.

Some of the best preserved Greek ruins are in Sicily. And, you have Mount Etna which you can see anywhere on the eastern side. It just towers over everything.
