Steering wheels are for auto racing games. I had brake and accelerator pedals on a computer for a while too.

That picture has way too many meters to look like a computer, even an old concept. Maybe a control panel for a power system for an old cray (the ones that had as a surge protector a motor and generator connected by an eight-foot fiberglass pole).
