It's the NEXT round of regulations that matter. This round is about setting precedent that porn performers may be treated in regulations as ordinary employees. It doesn't even matter if these rules survive a court challenge. If the ordinary employee status stands that's all CAL/OSHA needs to shut things down over time (by gradually increasing costs and paperwork requirements).
