This cat is going to put the kids through college

You know, I don't get it. My parents put the 24 hour buffet out for their cat and it's more inactive and complacent than ours, and ours seems to be ballooning at a substantial rate while theirs is just a little chunky. She can't be pregs, as she was born into a shelter and was spayed. We've only had her four months, and she is twice as fat as when we adopted her.
