I had to settle for Brees at the #3 pick, was REALLY tempted to take Foster, but stuck to the plan. Both Gronk and Graham were gone by the time I picked in the second round. Wound up going QB/WR/WR/TE to start off.
Surprised the QBs and TEs went so early, considering as of last year, in a PPR league, some guys were still going RB/RB to start their drafts.
Here's how the team looks. Not so happy with it, but half the guys will be gone through waiver transactions, so I'm not worried.
QB- Drew Brees
Tim Tebow (my good luck charm)
RB- Trent Richardson
Ben Tate (come on Foster injury)
Toby Gerhart (is AP ready to play?)
WR- Greg Jennings
AJ Green
Reggie Wayne
Jerome Simpson
Danny Amendola
TE- Vernon Davis
Fred Davis
K- Alex Henery
Josh Scobee
D/ST- Giants
Bills
Starting Line Up
1-QB
2-RB
2-WR
1-TE
1-FLEX (RB/WR/TE)
1-K
1-D/ST
If Richardson produces enough to justify his being drafted #3 overall by the Browns, I should be good. You can't bank on health, but the only real reach I went for was Amendola, and if my #3 WR can catch about 90 passes, as he did 2 years ago, I'm really well off. Until he proves as much, Fred Davis will probably be my flex.
Still feeling queasy making Jennings my # 2 pick, but Cruz isn't a lock, and Nicks is brittle. Rodgers always spreads the ball around, but Jennings seems to be the "move the chains" guy.
Tomorrow I'll post the lineup that won me the title last year, and you will see I am smarter than the average bear. Everyone was saying it was the worst championship line up ever, all I said is, "I wasn't up against the other championship teams. I was up against you guys."
