Fair enough. I guess I had the concept of the perfect woman at one time. These days I'd be satisfied by any woman who doesn't make me want to plot her murder after knowing her 3 months. My therapist tells me I have issues.

That is only natural to lower your standards as you get older and your ideal criteria for a significant other isn't met.

The best example is that woman creeping up towards middle age(around 40) and the biological clock to have a baby is starting to sound like a ticking time bomb.

At a younger age she wanted Prince Charming. Now she will settle for a frog's donor eggs.

I agree that finaces when handled properly are more stable,but it has been my experience that matter what you may have today it may be gone tommorow.I lost a home and two cars on the east coast before coming here.(through no fault of my own)I think it's also important to be able to rise fom the ashes.

i thought the list was idealistic....as a female my list was somewhat like that...(minus the reading music and cuff links)..then I got older..provided most of it for myself (graduate school, living within a budger, car within budget..etc) so the list took on more values such as

..honesty
..can admit how he feels (even if it is plotting my death)
.. stable job.... a union one is a bonus of 2 pts
.. a functional family or realizes his is disfunctional..but loves them anyway
you know life changes us all.
