What I do know is that I couldn't log on from whatever date until Sunday afternoon. I'd try a couple of times a day for a week or so, then I pretty much gave up...tried maybe once or so a week...I was about to give up and call this the "dream" season of Dallas and managed to get on Sunday.

I don't know if I was banned, if there was a glitch in the Matrix, some weirdness with my ISP. Don't know. I was rocking the boat, threats were being tossed around at dissenters (and still are). But I honestly don't know. Do I put it past any of you? Considering your behaviour, of course not. You'll do anything to be "right". I don't want to believe I was banned, and wouldn't have 4 months ago. But now? Anything's possible with you.

So I guess we're back to you tell me. Of course, we'll have to take your word for it either way. If only your word had value.

OK, I was very pissed when I first heard this, because a banning with out an announcement would be such a pussy move. I sent feelers out, before I commented. My sources confirm that Barry was not banned.

Barry, if this was a troll, then I am sorry I fucked it up on you. My opinion is that a fucking pussy move like a hush hush banning is something that could potentially nuke the board, so I felt obligated to say something.

Of course he wasn't banned. I haven't even looked into how one goes about banning someone, much less doing it. I certainly wouldn't ban a contributing poster just because I didn't like them or disagreed with them.

Edit: As laughed at here many times before, my home ISP is Hughesnet. Some Mormon in their HQ bans XPT from my permissible websites or forgets to update their dns servers from time to time and I have been excluded from this site for days at a time. Likely that's what happened to Barry. I really just wanted to see how much of a rant he could get on with and how many people he could get to fall in line with him by claiming to be banned. At the very end there, he stepped back from the ledge.

I checked the users list around June 13 and his name was right on the second page, it was a little after the week he disappeared on May 30 (that was a Wednesday), and not only was he still there (aka not banned, because you don't show up in the users list when your banned and I bet several others noticed his name was still there) he still had his last login date listed as May 30. If he had logged in that Sunday as he claimed to have, it would have read June 3.

I checked because I was stuck in a hotel with nothing to do but twiddle my thumbs all day, surf the net, or surf a channel selection of maybe 5 English speaking stations. If one part of his story is bullshit, then the rest of it is likely bullshit as well. A bitch move Barry blaming your butt hurt on a mod's vengeance, then trying an awkward back pedaling when confronted with the truth. I really had thought better of you than that.

I never claimed to have logged in on the 3rd. Not sure where that came from. Probably the same place that JB and I were in cahoots. I was able to logon the 7th, when I started posting again.

Well, I'm glad the Wrasslin Thread is in the right spot and its 30k+ views are safe. Still have a month and a half before it reaches its first birthday, too. I'm going to have to drop some more stellar in there, and see if I can push it to 36K, for a 3k/month avg. The views lately have picked up speed, a little over 1000/week. I'll attribute that to the Extreme Rising talk, along with Reby Sky's ass.

Panic attacks are fun, aren't they? I used to get these strange pains in my left arm which I didn't realize were related to a couple of ruptured discs in my neck. I'd get myself all worked up thinking it had to be related to my heart and then it'd turn into a panic attack, which can resemble a heart attack. And the more I tried to convince myself that it wasn't a heart attack, the more I'd be able to convince myself that maybe, just maybe, it was.

No, for the amount of traffic the site gets, we have plenty of active Mods. Any more, and it would be the equivalent of a vanity plate, not a badge. Besides, I have my precious page views to stare at, if I need the ego stroke. It is just annoying to see the names up there when they don't participate on the site anymore.
