When I was a kid my mom dressed me and my bro up as pirates for a local fair, I got into a fight with my brother and my mom hit me to keep me in line, I teared up in public and there's a picture of me somewhere as a kid, all teary-eyed from my mom's smack on the back of my head and a pirate. This thread reminds me of that day.
