And those are one of the cheaper knockoffs. I have an original tiled Kamado that cost around $1,000 and weighs maybe 650lbs. Almost all of the tiles have fallen off, but it still works wonderfully and will hold a steady bbq temp of 225° for over 36 hours with a full load of charcoal. There's a company now called Komodo Kamado that makes a higher end version that runs around $4,000, I think. It uses elastomeric grout developed for the space shuttle to keep the tiles from falling off.
