Willie D. ought not point fingers or assign blame for the 'decline' (if there actually is any) of this board. He has been here, posting, moderating, stirring things and what not, for more than six years. Apparently, his presence wasn't enough to avoid the decline, let alone reverse it.

Every message board gets the traffic and posters it deserves. At the moment, it seems XPT deserves 20 or so active posters and not an enormous amount of traffic (I didn't check and I don't care). The comparison of the current state with a situation of 4-8 years ago is simplistic and irrelevant. Too many parameters have changed to even begin making that comparison (mobile internet, bandwidth, amount of other porn-related forums, etc.).
