That is exactly what is happening. According to an article about the show in AOPA Pilot, she is the reason for the show. Somehow, she was in Los Angeles and got hooked up with the right people to make it happen. She is an attention whore of the first order. If she ends up looking like her mother, she better hurry and lock in everything she ever wants out of life soon. Obviously she came to realization that she is way too hot to waste her life in the company of blubber eaters.

It is a similar situation to those smoking hot Mormon broads in Utah who don't want to wreck their opportunities or figures by being married off to and impregnated by some horny elder just coming off his two year mission.
