It turns out the bloody, severed foot mailed to Canada's Conservative Party headquarters in Ottawa on Tuesday was not a (extremely macabre) prank. Twenty-nine-year-old former gay porn star Rocco Luka Magnotta is wanted for the murder of an unidentified male victim. The same victim's hand was sent to Canada's Liberal Party offices on Tuesday. The decomposing torso that police found in Montreal also belongs to the same body.

The Montreal Gazette reports that Magnotta (who also goes by Eric Clinton, Kirk Newman, or Vladimir Romanov) previously posted several videos of himself torturing and murdering kittens, and may have disseminated a video of this crime as well. The paper reports, "He appears to have posted on Friday what looks like a horrible video of a man murdering, sexually assaulting and dismembering a young man."
