I was telling cq in pm that my dad "quit smoking" and went to a pipe. Kind of how I quit smoking and went to cigars. When he retired he quit smoking the pipe too...altho anytime you wanted some sugar there was always a couple of bags of "fun sized" Snickers under the seat of his Buick. Somewhere along the line I started picking up pipes and accessories from estate sales and eBay. Some I'd keep, some I'd restore and resell. I seldom smoke any of them, but I really do enjoy sitting in the back yard with one. It's relaxing and gives me a minor connection to my dad.

@tatty: I started again because of anxiety. I'd been probably 8ish years weed free. Weed's no cure, but it gets me over the hump sometimes.
