I am aware, just do not like the multiplayer part of the game. It has been done better elsewhere. Not in the current Call Of Duty titles. Definitely not.

Frank I will send along a TV out if you want so you can use your computer to play stuff on your TV and also a a DVI to AGP s you can use it to use it on your monitor if your monitor has a AGP.

I used it as a SLI card and it works just fine. You might want to get a a compressed air thing and blow out the fan.

It would make no sense to send you a card that you can't use.

If you have a computer that was made in 2007 or beyond it should be fine.

So you did some SLI setup with a motherboard which has both, an AGP or PCIe slot for main graphics and a PCI slot for a secondary GPU, I assume.
Since the card pictured above is an older one, I furtherly assume that you dedicated the processing power of the older GPU to PhysX algorithms.
If all that is true, did you notice anything?

I used it as a sli set up, the card is an XFX and it was paired with a BFG. One of the capacitors on the bfg exploded but the XFX card works just fine.

The board was a P5ND2-SLI which was one of the very first SLI boards.

I sold it for about 70 bucks and picked up a P5Q and have had no problems with it.

Hm. I wondered if it makes any difference if I would dedicate either the CPU or a whole modern GPU to PhysX. I still think it is a gimmick most games do not suffer much without.

Pipe: I am current using a gtx 460. and it works great. All games I want to play run great. My only issue with it is that the fan is very loud.

Oh. Okay. I probably went overboard with my current system, as the stuff I like to play is the new, not nearly optimised and hungry one. Max Payne 3 should be good on it though.

I tried the first one and thought the controls were shitty, did not play it, like the atmosphere and look though. Doom 3 was quite atmospheric as well, despite otherwise being a standard shooter.

That is advanced. Technologically. But hardly a surprise in an engine which in its first iteration was introduced in 2007 to then get constantly improved and altered so that financially important consoles can utilise it. Or parts of it at very low settings, resolution and fidelity. It is the most technologically advanced computer game engine I know of.
