The problem with regular lawyers is they generally work either for money, or for notoriety which they can exchange for money in the future. Most porn people don't have any money, and the notoriety to be gained from being involved in a porn bitchfight (think anything involving Skeeter Kerkove or Donkey Long) is actually a negative in the eyes of regular lawyers, who want to acquire a general reputation for probity and good judgment. Because that's what regular people look for in a lawyer.

I think porn people, who have no money, look for a lawyer you can pay with blowjobs and a baggie of meth. Both of which I like, but which are not the staples of my existence.
