When I lived in Belltown, (downtown) Seattle, I couldn't figure out why all the shades in every window was drawn and I'd never seen anyone out & about. I asked the (I think gay) dude who was cutting my hair about it and he said the whole neighborhood was hooked on meth.

I personally only know two people who have used it. One was a big Hawaiin ex-gangbanger who would use it and then spend 2-3 days working on fixing up cars. Another was a young druggie girl who told me she smoked meth just once and wound up watching cartoons for 2 days straight.
