I really dig the content on the kink websites. That being said here's a couple points Id like to bring up.

1. I didnt know so many American pw were up for this kind of treatment.

2. Isnt this the same kind of content that has gotten several other producers brought up on obscenity charges? I always thought that fisting(especially anal fisting) and having sex while tied up we're big no-no's.

3. At least 1 of the directors(Princess Donna) is female. Do prosecutors think its harder to get a jury to convict a woman for obscenity that it is a man?

I did an internal search here for kink.com, and got a TON of hits, I apogize if this has been discussed already.

1. I believe it's not the treatment they are up for but the pay cheque. I fucking hate doing lock smith work but I suddenly love it if you are paying me.

2. Yes. I was wondering about that myself. But I also wonder why BMEZINE doesn't get clipped given it documents a bunch of what are essentially doctors practicing medicine without licenses.

3. No idea. I'm not a prosecutor.

I think that having their servers in a location where prosecutors aren't on an obscenity hunt insulates them from many worries. Max, Rob Black, etc, they were shipping DVDs, physical product that can be bought and sold anywhere to establish jurisdiction and get the wheels turning on a witch hunt prosecution.

I think everyone knows exactly where Peter (kink.com) is after he put over 14 million into a building in San Francisco. He banks on the happy little interview at the end of each production will keep him safe from any prosecution.

My understanding is that kink.com was formed by many of the people from insex who were tired of the head dude's bullshit (some of which is displayed in that doc).

I didn't get that impression at all when I watched it but then again, I have a hard time keeping track of the different characters in "Game of Thrones".

The comments about anal fisting/bondage being perceived as a no no up are spot on. However the important point is that the norms of society change over time and often things are not as clear as black and white. Things that were once considered taboo can and do change. Think what was considered hardcore 20 years ago? They are pushing the envelope somewhat but they would probably say this is role-play with consenting adults. They try to mitigate with the pre-scene interviews where performers are asked what they are comfortable with/consent to, particular role-play identified (pornstars are thankfully not employed for their acting ability!), safe-word confirmed etc. The post-scene interviews get rather samey with the "oh I had so much fun!...blah blah" There is some good role-plays and themes though - schoolgirls etc Cherry Torn's bride and bridesmaid role-play is interesting....

I'm not really sure how they get around the obscenity stuff, but I think one poster may have hit it ... being in San Fran or maybe having servers outside of the country ... but as far as being up for that kind of treatment, well, I've shot a ton of stuff for kink and I can tell you that the end product looks a lot worse than the actual shooting of it, lol, they're very cool about all the girls limits. If you need a break or need to stop they're very respectful of that. They're also a great company to work for If they like you they'll bring you back over and over ... which these days is very rare.
