Well, Japan isn't over here.
The US and a few European countries are the only places in the world that consider racial diversity to be reasonable, much less a good idea. Most of the world - including Japan - considers multi-racial societies to be a distinct disadvantage and a bad idea. Diversity is not considered a good thing by most societies, and the idea that all people ought to get identical treatment at the same price as long as their money is good is probably a uniquely American idea.
