On top of that I am powering 2 monitors and have a video feed to my TV.

I am not trying to brag I just want to know what the appeal is.

And the PSP (the new one looks nice) was a shit system, remember when they tried to make a movie format for it?

You can build a gaming computer for around 3-400 bucks a PSP is 300 bucks. Why bother?

I was just playing along with your post, Conq.

You know, I can't explain the lure of consoles. I can definitely say that the console market is so goddamn strong, that most AAA game release are dictated by it. I know all of the advantages of PC gaming, but when I go to forums like Gamefaqs and Neogaf, one of the most copied and repeated posts is, "I hope this gets released for PC". I have a few PC gamer friends, and everytime I talk about a game, their response is usually, "oh that's not out yet on PC", or "I don't think they're going to release that for PC". These guys spend the majority of their gaming time playing Minecraft and Dwarf Fortress and I don't fault them for it. I've been on consoles since I was seven years old (four if you count playing Intellivision at my Grandma's house), and I still route for the home team, winning or losing. I hold absolutely nothing against gamers. I would love for this thread to be more of a tolerant environment where we can come together as gamers and leave all other board politics and usualy rhetoric aside. I admire any gamer that stays true to form, be it on console or PC.
