Yep, once you get a bowl dirty enough to hold a brass or steel screen in it, it don't get no better. If it needs to be cleaned, pop it out, burn it clean, then heat up the resin and junk in the bowl, and press the screen back in. I used to clean my bong often, but only cleaned the bowl about once a year.
