Thanks Steezo.
In this clip, Sunny is asked if she would ever release a sex tape. She'd have to go on the "Gia, 2 ketchup packets and an apple every 3 days" diet for 3 months.

Thank you, sir. My Twitter timeline has been too porn heavy, so I've been trying to mix it up. Only people I noticed that blocked me were Coco Loco and Beth Stern.

I have a twitter account for my cat that I use to troll wrestlers. I've only trolled Hogan, Mike Tenay, and Eric Bischoff so far, but the 140 character limit is fucking killing me.

I've said some horrid shit to Bubba Dudley and gotten no response, but not blocked. Fucker is just no selling me.
Heyman too. He no sells the shit outta me. You gotta be fawning over him, suckling on his taint, or you gotta be a complete tool, so he can fuck with you. If the Paul E sniffs wit, he no sells, so you can't get anything over on him and blow his gimmick.
I think I posted my Jamie Dundee interaction here. He was trying to spark a grassroots effort to get himself cast on Stone Cold's Redneck Island, and I said something like, "they could use a meth-billie like you." He tweeted back that he never messed with meth, but he was a hell of a crackhead. He followed me.
OOOOOH shit. I just remembered. Steve Corino and some other jobber were trying to work an angle, and I shit all over it. I said it sounded like a couple of fags slap fighting, and he blocked me and my tweet disappeared (I think).

After repeated talks w/ HHH and convincing that the programming is TV-PG, Bruno agreed. There are rumors that he wants no contact with Vince, and others that there will be a sit down between the 2 to clear the air. Either way, this is a HHH thing. He worked hard to make it happen and, as much as it pains me to admit, he did a good job.

Did Bruno ever wrestle a match that consisted of more than punches, a rest-hold and a goddamn bear hug? I know he's legendary and all, but I've been watching some of his work and he's like an in-ring predecessor to Hogan.

No. Yes. Dammit. I guess he really was. To me, Bruno's psychology miles and above Hollywood's. It was "real" then. Hulkster had the advantage of working in an era where no matter how over the top you were, it was OK. Bruno had to be more real. It was the age, too. We're pretty spoiled with the El Genericos and Dem Boys. In Bruno's time most matches were punches, rest holds and the signature move.

Yeah, I take back the Hogan comment. It was kneejerk and a terrible comparison. Bruno's Califlower errs are a testament to how much tougher the workrate was before Vince's entertainment era took over. You put it perfectly with the "spoiled" comment. You hear so much about how great these old workers are, and you watch a match or two and it's the most boring shit out there. It's like "where are the highspots"? "Where are the hurricanrana'z"? While I find Bruno's old matches about as exciting as Hogan's old matches, they are two different entities entirely. I've always heard that if Hogan did one thing right, ring-wise, it was that he took care of you. He may no-sell and bury your ass in the midcard, but at least he won't knock out your front teeth, RobVanFat style. I heard a lot of guys say that wrestling Hogan was like wrestling a feather. But yeah, fuck that guy, anyway.
Not all the oldies were boring, though. There was a sweet spot in there around 77', 78'. I watched a match between Dory Funk Jr. and Harley Race that was a 50 minute clinic. Every move that existed in that time was put on display. Piledrivers, Iron Claws, every variation on a suplex. It was amazing.
Also, Superclash III is no WWE classics right now. What a terrible card. Lawler Vs. Kerry Von Erich and Wahoo Mcdaniel vs. Manny Fernandez were the only matches that didn't suck big time. It was funny seeing the outcome play out and realizing that it was the product of each promoter trying to get their way. No fucking way Fritz's boy was going to drop the title clean, so they put in that bullshit "too much blood" outcome, which made no sense because Wahoo and Manny were bleeding all over the goddamn place and were still allowed to continue. Also, from what I understand, and this could just be Lawler/WWE revisionist history, Kerry was fucking wasted. How the fuck do you split your biscep open before the match even starts? Methinks someone was trying to find a vein. Lol at seeing Greg Gagne get booed out of the building and still hit the double-count-out as Verne tries in deperation to test the waters on his useless son having a title run. Poor Greg inherited his mom's genes
Also, that "Syrian Terrorist" chick was extremely 80's hot.

Is that the match that KVE got the fuck boo'ed out of him? I've heard from other's books/ shoots that Kerry worked wasted a lot.
I always felt for Greg. Whatever the "it factor" is, he had the opposite. He was just never believable. He'd get all mad and hulk up...yawn. He tried, tho. Followed Slaughter through the jungles of Minnesota, he did. What was the thing where he got in trouble for raping a secretary or something?

Greg, by a mile. Mike had a little bit of muscle going on. Not much, but a little. Greg never had any upper body strength to speak of. Add the pasty skin and he had nothing going on. He looked like an insurance agent.

You see Dutch Mantel is back in the WWE as Zeb Coulter, right wing kook? And they renamed that dude's ankle lock the "Patriot Lock". I guess Linda pissed away all her play money and now they will be throwing taste out the window.
Why they always gotta give him a name that starts with a Z? Dutch isn't redneck enough?

Dutch is what, 132 years old? Dutch Mantell is a redneck name. Why change it? Fucking Vince.
What show was he on?
RAW. I think the jobber was Jack Swagger. Vince don't own the Dutch Mantell name, that's why he changes it.

That trend is one of the things I find most annoying about the WWE. I don't mind the name changes, I understand why they do it, but they always come up with awful names. They're either lame (Seth Rollins) or fucking ridiculous (Kassius Ohno).
Also hi, I think I've posted on this board once maybe twice, but I like the discussion in this thread.
I am fully expecting Inoki level New Japan "young boy" initiation here.
I'm seeing a disturbing trend of going back to the silliness of the 80s in the E.
To be fair, look at what gets over in the WWE these days. Santino Marella was one of the most over guys on the fucking roster a year ago, and he's goofy as hell. Zack Ryder got over with the ridiculous Jersey schtick. They jobbed both those guys out, but I bet they sold a shitload of cobra socks and WWWYKI headbands. Silly shit makes money in this era.
Dancing Tensai and Brodus getting a push when they were both stagnant due to a fucking dance contest.
And I don't necessarily hate silliness - I'm a Chikara fan - but I would rather have it be somewhat clever rather than what the WWE sees as comedy. It's like a fifth grade insult factory with random dancing.

Welcome. Feel free to chit chat. I don't recall if anyone has been flamed in this thread. They pretty much just let us have our lil space.
Chikara, that is the one w/ the 6man matches and most of the dudes in masks? If so, I wanted to go to one of their shows last year, but unfortunately child support and car insurance took precedent.
Vince makes the names. Can you imagine the touch and go situation in the Creative meeting. "Well...uh...Vince, we know Zebekiah was a great redneck name, but...uh... we don't know if it can get over with the current audience. He's not gonna be out there with overalls and a slop bucket."
"But just listen to it, Zebuh-KIIIaaaaah. ZeBUH-kiaaaa. No, Zebuh-KIIIaaaaah, sounds better."
"We know, we know Vince, and if you were still at the announce table, with that delivery it would be gold. We just...uh... think that since we are...uh... trying to... emphasize the Coulter right wing kook aspect of the character, we should...come up with a...uh...different... name. Maybe Eli or Chael or Rush."
".........."
"Uh...What I...uh...What I meant was a SHORTER name. What do you think of Zeb?"

How many plaid polyesters had to be killed to make the Flair/ Von Erich suits?
You bring back Swagger, a former World Champion and legit tough guy, and job him to Dutch fucking Mantell? But they got Del Rio over as a face after having him run over Santa.
@timer I think there's a place for comedy wrestlers...there always has been. But to have the whole territory be comedy wrestlers? I agree. I like clever, not childish. It's the new business model, I suppose.
I'm starting to come around to the Rock/ Punk thing. Punk and Heyman have been genius in this run. I think Punk, and to a lesser extent Heyman, are channeling the angry indie guy. It's red meat to the hardcore fan who hates Dewey and all he stands for.

There is such a fine, fine line when it comes to silliness. It has to be done correctly. The attitude era blended it quite well. The forced stuff like DX never really appealed to me. Austin playing the straight-faced crazy man, pulling out all the stops to get Vince's approval comes to mind. I still laugh hard at the skits. Loved when he gave Vince the Cowboy hat and Kurt Angle came out of the background wearing the kiddie hat.
I also liked the stuff that was so over the top, that it just clicked like Mae Young giving birth to the hand, and Austin attacking Vince in the hospital. The shit that WWE puts out these days is just cringe-worthy. And not in a TNA, so bad it's good kind of way.
That match they had last Thursday was fucking gold. Both going for the finger-poke of doom and neither conceding. Me and the kid were laughing our asses off. They have a great dynamic. Two monstrous egos working together and butting heads the entire time. You know you're doing it right when the faces come out to save the day and get booed out of the building. It's like The No Limit Soldiers in WCW. Totally backfired. I love when the curtains come down and you see the true folly of the creative team at work. Like they thought that their target demographic would embrace dirty-rich black mens and boo for the rednecks that hate rap.

After the Smackdown tapings on Tuesday, Jack Swagger was arrested for DUI and weed. Weed is only a fine under the WWE Wellness Policy, but I guess he can kiss his alleged Mania win and title run Goodbye. They say that should cost him $250k.

Maybe, maybe not. The angle is just smoking hot. Mania's 2 months away? That's forever. Amp up the anti- immigrant talk, maybe hint at some racism...just a hint. You can't go full racist. Don't ignore the bust. Slip some Libraterianism (jondra) in to explain it. Have him punk Del Rio two or three times in each Raw and SD. You couldn't not have the match. The fans would be screaming for Zeb's head.
As an aside, I would vote for Zeb Coulter for County Commissioner.

I don't think they will can him, but they were going to build the ECW brand around RVD, and he got his title and push taken away for getting caught with weed.

One difference with RVD was that he was pretty vocal about being a head.
The mainstream media has picked up the "Tea Party" aspects, they're saying they'll address the Beck thing on RAW. It seems that they're staying on this ride, and from a purely money standpoint they can pull this thing through. It's weed. By their policy, it's just fine...fartz was the source on that. Add to that Linda's not running for dog catcher anymore, so the Wellness Policy is probably ripe for tweaking.
Again tho, if anyone can fuck this up, it's the brain trust at Titan Towers.
