PANZER ALERT! PANZER ALERT!

From my previous post, I'm doing some rust repair on my old truck. It's going to require some paint. Auto Paint is expensive. I used DuPont primers, but for the color and clear, I use products from BASF.

I went to the paint supplier yesterday and picked up:
1 gallon of R-M Diamont medium reducer.

R-M is a mid level paint line from BASF.

I also ordered 2 quarts of R-M basecoat in GM Bright Teal Metallic. And I paid $160. I've got Glasurit clear left over from when I painted my Porsche a few years ago but I need some new hardener.

Glasurit is the premium paint line from BASF.

So the guy goes back to mix the paint and then returns a few minutes later and said that he made a mistake with the R-M so he was going to mix it in Glasurit. So at the end of the day, I got two quarts of Glasurit for the price of R-M. Glasurit is typically twice as much as R-M.

I don't know if this qualifies as worthy of Panzers approval since I didn't lie, deceive, or otherwise coerce the poor bastards into giving me something I didn't pay for.
