I assume I'm on a list. The background check makes sense. They don't want rapists and child molesters working in an environment that could possibly encourage that sort of behavior. I just assumed the finger-printing part was marking me down as some sort of "possible" sex offender, because I sit on my ass selling smut to people and laughing at them behind their backs. I'm not worried about it. It's not like I plan on rapin' and molestin' in my lifetime or anything. As far as the process. We have to drive down to the county's Health and Environmental Services Center for the background check and to pay for the permit, get our picture taken and put on a card (I have a card with my picture that says "permit to work in an adult-oriented business"), then they send you across the street to the police staion to be finger-printed. It's funny. For some reason, the county lets my manager just pay them and renew my permit, where everyone else always has to go down and get their picture re-taken.
