JVC S.E.A. 80 for $60 in perfect condition. Built like a fuckin' tank and still a good EQ by today's standards. They should start making audio equipment out of metal and decent circuit-boards again, like in the 70s.
Tell me more about this. Does it amplify as well as equalize? I have a circa 1980 BSR EQ that I ordered from DAK Industries back in the day. I made a minor boost but could make wild swings in frequencies. Due to general laziness I do not have it cabled into any of my systems right now but if this subject continues I may get it out of the original shipping box today and stretch it out.
