Everyone remembers television's Michael J. Fox appearing on curb your enthusiasm. There we see a man with a gaze focused inward on his determination, displaying an impressive range of emotional speeds. But we also see a man struggling to steady himself enough to blurt out a few mono-syllables - they are awkward and abrupt, much in the way black people spit the name georgia out of their mouths.

It is uncomfortable but everyone is rooting for him. He's cruising along, the words are coming out and he almost looks casual, you think "he's got this" and just when it seems like he's hitting his stride BAM he's jammed up and you either covered your eyes or looked away - you wanted to be sick. The man was taxed, they'd taken too much. I tried to vomit one more time but it lacked conviction. No audience enjoys spending all evening watching someone walk into stone walls.

on a personal note I really believe that if not for his family ties fuckyou money then Michael J. has a job at home depot holding paint cans. He hides bottles under the counter and drinks heavily, or "drinks" insofar as you see the stuff go in but there's no discernible effect. And he goes out into the night and we have no idea who this man is.

Although addressing a minor aspect of your post, I don't think MJF got his fuck you cash from family ties, im guessing more so from spin city or if he had a great agent some back end back to the future royalties (adjusts glasses with forefinger)
