that's essentially a hardbound version of "the star", the author has no credibility but that kind of book's sales usually outweigh the probability of losing money in court so it'll get published.

i'm no republican, but for whatever it's worth he's probably a pretty tolerant guy. my mom was friends with him while they were getting their souls vacuumed out at HBS. It was the first year women were enrolled, and was even more macho and caucasian than now and he was one of a few who were genuinely friendly with her(she was married, don't bother...) and one of the black guys. this was the mid-70's before PC and political aspirations as well, and the guy's cabinet is the most diverse ever and unlike clinton the people he really listens to include a black, a jew and a woman. he may have a lot of faults, but he's not the bigoted cracker he's made out to be.
