After talking to the seller, I drove over 5 hours to look at a 1978 Cardinal 177RG for sale. When I got there it had been sold. For about 15minutes I was sure the guy was just joking with me since he knew I was coming.

I wasn't even looking for a 177. Been looking at 182RG's or Bonanzas, but the price was outstanding, so I thought I'd make the trip and had talked myself into buying it if it checked out OK. So I've been in a pissed mood today.
