Anyway this is the MUGEN version I am downloading...
875 characters (plus some more because some of the characters have alternate versions of themselves)
352 stages
Note: Some of the characters are custom made, and don’t actually appear in the game I listed them in, but are related in a way. Also, some characters have alternate versions of themselves that you can access by holding the start key while selecting the character. Keep in mind, some of these characters are still beta, and probably won’t behave correctly 100% or will be missing moves.
137 characters from The King of Fighters
Which also includes NeoGeo Battle Coliseum, Garou Mark of the Wolves, Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury, SNK vs. Capcom (SNK side), and probably some others. I couldn’t tell which character belonged to which game because many of them look and play very similarly, so I just clumped them all together.
7 characters from The King of Fighters XIII
Rock Howard is a high res edit of normal Rock Howard. He’s not actually in King of Fighters XIII.
18 characters from SNK vs. Capcom (Capcom Side)
37 characters from Samurai Shodown
20 characters from The Last Blade
Some of these characters are actually from NeoGeo Battle Coliseum, and the control scheme will be different.
16 characters from Rage of the Dragons
16 characters from Power Instinct
44 characters from Capcom vs. SNK
12 characters from Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
More commonly known by the Japanese name, Pocket Fighter
27 characters from Street Fighter Alpha
You’ll notice basically none of the characters here are faithful to the original. Let’s just say that the ones that are faithful to the original are also crap.
23 characters from Street Fighter 3
48 characters from Marvel vs. Capcom
19 characters from Darkstalkers
Demitri’s signature move Midnight Bliss actually does work on a few of the characters. Only a small handful though. Also, you’d expect that all the Darkstalkers characters would be Blissable, but they’re not. It’s sad.
13 characters from Red Earth
11 characters from Nitro Royale
10 characters from Waku Waku 7
Roomi is from Galaxy Fight
11 characters from Asura Blade
11 characters from Sengoku Basara
[Known in the US as Devil Kings, but only 1 game came out here so it’s more popularly known as Sengoku Basara
28 characters from Guilty Gear
24 characters from Eternal Fighter Zero
15 characters from Touhou
14 characters from Big Bang Beat
30 characters from Melty Blood
20 characters from Arcana Heart
30 characters by Phantom of the Server
Actually, it’s by Phantom of the Server and various people who copied his style.
These are edited characters where the author took all the best aspects of that character from the various games they appeared in and put them into one character.
11 characters by LaQuak
These characters have a huge move list that flow together into long combo strings. Hard to master.
15 characters by Kohaku
Since Touhou characters are projectile spammers, Kohaku edited them to be primary melee attackers, much like the more traditional fighting game characters. It also includes some other characters too, other than Touhou.
All characters here are transformed into 6 button characters
16 characters by RajaaBoy
Moves have been changed quite a bit for these characters.
Also, every character gets a new thing called Vigormode where they lose their supers but every special move becomes an EX attack.
7 characters by Gu
Mostly edited Touhou characters, with a few Eternal Fighter Zero characters made to behave more like Touhou characters.
3 characters by M3
These are edited to be 4 button characters
65 original characters
They’re either edited from existing characters or completely drawn from scratch. Props to these guys for their creativity and effort.
104 characters in this section
If the list of characters for a series was too short to merit its own section, I put them here.

The Kid. If you ever played I Wanna Be The Guy before, you’ll know exactly why this guy’s the weakest in the roster.
7 games
