Davis should let others think. backdoorman does not seem to be aware that this is the second part of a flame troll thing and that tips for life, love and happiness are better directed towards Davis, the one with the moral problems and doubts outlined in my quick summary of what happened in the first part.
Pipedream should realize that what he thought was sure thing flame against another poster backfired hopelessly in his face and that people who are able to interact with other human beings don't have deep psychic pain or embarrassment when discussing romantic relationships.
Backdoorman and others must surely realize that Pipedream would never post anything about interpersonal interactions with other human beings because his autism spectrum disorder makes such things unpractical.
All members of XPT who have ever read anything ever typed by Pipedream have all discovered that Pipedream struggles with the English language in general and basic human interactions in particular like an airline passenger struggling with a terrorist hijacker.
Davis knows that Pipedream's feeble attempt at hurling what Pipedream thinks is an insult is hilarious in that Davis not only doesn't think it is the least bit insulting, the basic premise of a man who cannot tolerate interpersonal relationships (and even if psychologically he could, he unfortunately possesses the "smooth" verbal and interpersonal skills of a young Hellen Keller on acid) and couldn't talk a woman (or a man) into any relationship whatsoever without getting the cops called on him. Therefore any efforts to critique others is simply seen for what it is: Pipedream's attempt to mask his deep feelings of sadness over being unable to interact with other human beings effectively let alone have a relationship.
Above translated into Pipedream speak:

Sorry to interrupt the sword fight again, but since you brought it up, what percentage would you put on the fact that ADT style stalker fanbois fall into the spectrum? I would say upwards of 75%.

I think there is a big difference between being socially inept or painfully shy and having a true disorder. I think that the level of social incompetence may be pretty high amoung the ADT style fanbois, but I wouldn't throw around autism spectrum disorder lightly because it misses the difference between mental disorder needing treatment and simply shyness needing encouragement and experience. True stalking behavior seems to be much more likely to be Schizophrenic rather than Autistic behavior.
In Pipedream's case, I think that his obvious difficulty with organizing thoughts that is more than just some sort of baseless online flamewar insult goes beyond simple social retardation or shyness. The use of neologisms and repetitive patterns that are recognizable enough for people to mimic focuses that thought disorder more closely towards Autism spectrum vs Schizophreniform disorders. The spontaneous, unsolicited angry responses against posts that discuss relationships seem a bit "odd" at best.
No, this is more than just some baseless internet swordfight accusation/insult.

It's no secret that I have very little appreciation of his shtick and nebulous way of thinking. Say what the fuck you mean even if it's an insult and quit beating around the fucking bush. This isn't fucking group therapy !

Davis fucked some skank and thinks it is something he can be proud of. On to the: Next. Same shit, different skank. Doubts. Moral dilemma. Missing conclusion. Lame web psycho babble.

LOL! That is a very frustrating way of writing isn't it?
What I think you missed is that the post that you first responded to a page ago by Pipedream was Pipedream's attempt to mimic an old post of mine after I started making fun of his "style" of writing.
I think the fact that you responded to his post (when he was trying to mimic me) with decent, practical advice and empathy says a lot.
...but not quite as much as the way you responded to my post (where I was teasing Pipedream and mimicking his style of writing that was displayed in his previous post) with frustration and anger.
what I am trying to say, without beating around the bush, is that I think Pipedream has a significant psychological illness which doesn't bother me as much as the fact that he is in denial about it. Also, that any time he gets the urge to critique how normal people have relationships it is pitifully ironic if not downright laughable since he has never had a functional relationship in his life and this is only exacerbated by the fact that he is unable comprehend language or communication skills.
What I hope is that someday he will look back on our interactions here on XPT and thank me for making him realize he should get back into treatment and I am finally recognized as the Jane Goodall of the XPT kingdom.

I'm guessing Pipe Dream is either currently or formerly employed by Games magazine as one of the people that write the clues for their cryptic crossword puzzles.

He PM'd me once and it was decently coherent. I'd say what he does is at least partially a gimmick.
If what you're saying is he writes like that, on purpose, because he thinks it makes him sound cool rather than writing that way involuntarily because he is as addle headed, retarded and dysfunctional as it sounds, I can believe you.
...but if you're implying that he is somehow less socially retarded because he does it on purpose rather than involuntarily, I would have to laughingly disagree.
Can you see him pulling this cool talk gimmick on a woman (or a man, I don't claim to know his preferences)? It wouldn't matter if he did it voluntarily because he thought it would be a cool gimmick or involuntarily because he has significant brain damage, at the end of the day he would be just as alone and unsuccessful either way.
It's like if a skinny, rich, white kid from the suburbs all of a sudden starts dressing like a ghetto wigger and all of the other kids start laughing at him because he looks like a giant tool. Have you really done that kid any favor by saying, "He doesn't dress that way because he is brain damaged, he really does know how to dress like a normal human being, he just does that as a gimmick because he thinks it makes him look cool."

Would it be within your capacity to describe what it is about mocking your illness that is "circular"? Do you know what circular means?
By the way, I count six people on just this page having laughs at your expense. Do you struggle with numbers too? Or is this just another manifestation of your language disability and you don't understand the meaning of trio like you don't know what circular means? I'm starting to wonder (again) if you know what any of the words in your posts mean; including "the", "at", "work" and "activities".
Inferiore we all know is just an illustration of neologisms often seen in the mentally ill. A snippet from Wikipedia: In psychiatry, the term neologism is used to describe the use of words that have meaning only to the person who uses them, independent of their common meaning.[2] This is considered normal in children, but a symptom of thought disorder (indicative of a psychotic mental illness, such as schizophrenia) in adults.[3] People with autism also may create neologisms.[4] Additionally, use of neologisms may be related to aphasia acquired after brain damage resulting from a stroke or head injury.[5]
Are we starting to see a trend? Not only are the responses stylistically infantile, vacuous, and full of neologisms, they are factually incorrect as well. Not so much an example of a guy who knows better just using a gimmick, is it?
P.S. the numbers of posts displayed per page is a setting you can adjust, and I haven't bothered to scroll before this page. I am quite sure the total number of people goofing on Pipedream's disability is much higher on this particular thread.

Neologisms and idiosyncratic language in autistic speakers. Volden J, Lord C.
Source Red Deer College, Alberta.
Abstract Language samples from matched groups of 80 autistic, mentally handicapped, and normally developing children were coded for the presence of neologisms and/or idiosyncratic language use. Cognitive, social, or linguistic factors that might account for these errors were identified and assessed. More autistic subjects used neologisms and idiosyncratic language than age- and language skill-matched control groups. No single factor or combination of factors was responsible for this difference. Across diagnostic groups, similar patterns of error were noted, except that the autistic subjects were more likely to use words inappropriately that had no phonological or semantic similarity to the intended English word. For the autistic groups, the frequency of idiosyncratic language increased with language complexity. In contrast, such errors decreased with language skill in the mentally handicapped group. Theoretical implications for determining the nature and source of the language disorder associated with autism are discussed.

Wow, I have an old friend visiting this week who had a bad car wreck in high school and suffered brain damage. This describes him to a tee.
