I would have killed to be a fly on the wall in those booking meetings. Cornette is not a character. What you see is what you get. And Russo is a "writer". He very much feels he's an artiste'. I've seen several shoots with him and he is as real as Billy Jack Haynes. Delusional, but very sincere about it.

It ain't rocket science. It's booking wrestling. It's writing episodic tv. Both have been mastered. And there's only so many stories to tell. The Jarretts, of all people, should know this.
