I'd avoid straight up head shops because they just use tobacco as a cover for selling drug paraphernalia and even if they have some loose tobacco its probably as old as the store. Head shops are easy to spot becasue they usually make it a point to say they sell alternative smoking accessories.
You're just a goddamn liar. Shocked, I say shocked, am I that head shops sell drug paraphernalia (<is that seriously how it's spelled?). Lies. Vicious ones. Scandalous.
That said, yeah, a real tobacconist is the way to go. They can help you come up with a blend that tastes close to what your preference is.
