I started playing Skyrim on PS3 and was blown away. I loved it. I think part of it was that I was coming at it from exactly the opposite perspective. I was actually LOOKING for a generic medieval fantasy game and I think that this more than hit the mark.

I saw a couple of interviews online from the guys involved in making Skyrim while hunting for hints on the game and it was interesting to note that several developers seemed to claim that many of them are becoming inpatient with manufacturers coming out with the next generation of consoles.
