The girls in this business are very accessible for docs and other projects and most will spill their very personal shit at the drop of a hat. The key is being able to have an unique and compelling angle to show what is truly interesting about them. If you really want to strike gold, your angle will be compelling enough to even appeal to the wider, mainstream audience.

It will be interesting to see if Aroused accomplishes this.

The interesting angle to most mainstream audiences is getting the PW's to expose their personality disorders, addictions, sad upbringings. After all of that, address their extremely limited post-porn prospects, as the emotional coup de grace.

If you try to celebrate them, only the fanbois will watch.

If you try to present the girls as normal people who just happen to a bit exhibitionist, the fanbois will be uninterested and the reasonably educated middle-class and mainstream viewer will easily see through the facade.

Reality TV

Porn stars are more than happy to talk about themselves, not that you're necessarily going to get the truth unless you can read between the lies.

Reading between the lies is half the fun.
