1. Prevented a disastrous economy from collapsing by quickly passing a stimulus plan. Personally, I don't think the plan was big enough but it was as much as he could get passed.

The stimulus plan did nothing but waste money that could have been used more efficiently in the private sector. It did nothing for economic growth or the unemployment rate. The crowding out effect is well documented.

2. Killed Osama Bin Laden

That was a CIA/Pentagon operation the entire way. Obama was on a fucking gold course as long as a half-hour after the SEAL team was in the air. Valerie Jarrett nearly convinced him not to approve the operation. If you knew the real story behind the operation, you'd be embarrassed for Obama.

3. Eliminated many high-value terrorist targets around the world

Yes, by continuing operations and policies from the Bush administration.

4. Ended the Iraq War

Yes, on the original Bush timeline. Didn't Obama promise an immediate withrawal?

5. Set a DEFINITE end to the quagmire in Afghanistan

Yes, and it will only encourage the Taliban to wait us out. If he is going to withdraw U.S. forces regardless of the tactical situation, why doesn't he just withdraw them now?

6. Rescued U.S. Civilians from Somali pirates in a nail-biting
and courageous "Command-In-Chief" moment

All he did was follow the recommendation of the JCS and SecDef.

7. Consolidated the student loan process, making it easier for the government (I.e. taxpayers) to get its money back, and streamlining it for students.

This was actually a Bush proposal that the Dems in Congress refused to consider until Obama was in office.

8. Passed the first step towards making Health Care more accessible to many Americans

Every study by independent economists that I've read concludes that it will not lower costs and will actually raise them.

9. TARP plan. As atrocious and sickening as the bail-out was, we got all our money back PLUS more.

Most of it was paid back before he took office. Obama had nothing to do with TARP.

10. SAVED THE US AUTO INDUSTRY . Seriously, he did. By recognizing that sometimes you need to step in and interrupt the "INVISIBLE HAND", The President brought life back to an important U.S. industry

Are you fucking kidding me? Do you know how much the GM bailout will cost the taxpayer? The bailout did nothing but delay another inevitable GM bankruptcy. None of the systemic problems were addressed.

11. Showing the world that the USA can be a partner and co-ordinate actions with other nations instead of being a cowboy and sending in the military for everything.

Renditions. Drone strikes in Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen.

12. Hope. Yeah, I know it's corny but I feel better about this nation with Barack Obama at the helm. And the world does too.

P.S. - BTW, did I mention he got Bin Laden?
