All I'm saying is that if more people saw photos like the ones published in Rolling Stone, fewer Americans would be so gung ho about starting endless, expensive wars. Your politicians lie to you and make you pay for all of it. Meanwhile, they have close business and personal ties to defense contractors and suppliers. Revolving door politics between high-paying corporate jobs and high-paying government jobs.

Think your gas is going back to under a buck a gallon thanks to all the oil you're getting from Iraq? Think again. That's going to pay for colour-coordinated mansions and private jets for CEOs making hundreds of times your wage.

George Carlin said it best: You are given the illusion of choice. You are fooled into thinking you are in control and that your vote means something.

Only Ron Paul shows common sense by saying enough with all the wars, military bases around the world, etc. It's a shame more Americans don't listen to that message. Everyone's deafened by all the sabre-ratting against the next Other (Iran, Yemen, Pakistan, etc.).
