Pro-Tools is available for PCs as well, I think. It relies on proprietary hardware cards which almost have nothing to do with the host computer. Or it was that way once.
Bose makes speakers which are okay for what they are; small and stylish. They're priced too highly when compared to other offerings by different companies in any case. I never heard their headphones or the Beats things. AKG headphones are really solid. BeyerDynamic and Sennheiser seem to be liked and praised a lot.

The chips might be produced in the USA, but are probably shipped to China for those suicidal kids inhaling various toxins to be assembled into whole products in their slave shifts.
