There are all kinds of talks about revitalizing AC. State is supposed to take over a certain section, from zoning to police. Probably go through condemning shit off the strip, so they can sell it to developers that gave them payoffs. Also talks of making a Red Light ghetto. Strip clubs, massage parlors, swing clubs and adult stores all in one section. I believe that proposal is already being met with litigation. And some are saying how do you have a Red Light district w/o legalized prostitution? So I think some church groups are against it too, but don't quote me on that.
