^^ been there/done that many years ago - you feel like you're trapped inside your own body and it becomes a vicious cycle especially eating junk food / fast food.

another key is stealing a trick from the 12-step people: "a day at a time". Only ever worry about what you're going to do today - ie "i will do 45 min of cardio or lift a few weights TODAY.. i have no idea what i'll do tomorrow". Each day you keep repeating that (never looking past TODAY as far as keeping a promise to yourself) and its not so overwhelming.
