Not to derail a perfectly good thread about METH but for you slugs that don't like cardio, it's easier if you invest in a heart rate monitor ($20-$40) which makes it easier to endure since by keeping your heart rate within a certain range you won't get so tired out yet will still burn fat.
Formula: 220 - Age = Maximum Heart Rate (MHR) in beats per minute. So MHR in my case is 220 - 34 = 186 BPM. Then to figure out a reasonable range to stay within let's say for fat burning, multiply your MHR by .75 (low end) and .85 (high end). In my case 186 x .75 = 140bpm and 186 x .85 = 158bpm. So a reasonable range for me is 140-158bpm, so with the heart rate monitor I just keep it in that range (usually 150bpm). By making minor adjustments let's say on a treadmill (i.e. increasing/decreasing speed by .5 or increasing/decreasing incline by .5 you just keep your heart rate within your range as comfortable). That's how I started out and suddenly cardio wasn't so annoying anymore (ipod also helped a lot).
Also you'll burn the most fat doing cardio first thing in the morning before you've eaten anything. Good luck!
