Congratulations on Griffin for winning the Heisman. For Christmas I hope Alabama fan gets an extra large bag of dicks to suck. They have come up with both the most moronic reason why Richardson should have received instead of Griffin and the most moronic excuse why he didn't.

The reason? SEC defenses would slaughter Griffin. Right, just like they slaughtered Cam Newton last year. Griffin is at least 20 times better than any quarterback in the SEC this year. Your defenses should be good, your offenses couldn't score on Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras.

The excuse? There is an anti-SEC bias in the media.


Quite frankly not even Sean Hannity could come up with an idea this stupid. Who did CBS have in their studio for two hours a couple of weeks ago to shill for his team's inclusion into the national championship game? Mike Gundy? David Shaw? No, Nick Saban. Who was ESPN lobbying for to play LSU about two minutes after their first game with Alabama? Was it Oklahoma State? Stanford? Oregon? No, it was fucking Alabama. The national media has been the SEC's personal teabag all damn season long. It is more likely that your statue of Bear Bryant will grow wings and do loop-the-loops over Bryant-Denny Stadium than there is of an anti-SEC bias in the media. Shut the fuck up and enjoy the national championship rematch you don't deserve.

As a corollary to your national media hypothesis I also offer up the fact that your player got beat by a guy that plays for Baylor. Not USC, not Ohio State, not Notre Dame, not Texas, not Oklahoma, not Florida--Baylor. You could count on one hand the number of people with a vote in the Heismann who could name one person before Griffin that played at Baylor since Mike Singletary graduated.

Take Richardson off of Alabama and they are still a 10-2 team at worst. Take Griffin off of Baylor and you have a 3-9 team at best.
